BECAUSE BRIDESMAIDS ARE PEOPLE TOO.

The Getting Ready Wedding Playlist You Didn’t Know You Needed

The Ultimate Wedding Getting Ready Playlist

Oh, how we wish we could say “You have one job.” You don’t, you have so many jobs, but one of you is going to have to add this to your list. Trust, you need this getting ready wedding playlist. Ok, maybe not THIS exact playlist, but you definitely need one. Hype up the bride and take a walk down memory lane with your best girlies. Silence is deafening when nerves are high and stress in unavoidable – so do not forget to pack a bluetooth speaker. Music is magic. Music is life. Music is everything. We’re willing to bet most if not all of your best memories are associated with songs. Prob your worst ones too – don’t worry we have an ex-boyfriend piñata for that (we’ll share it soon). While we’re on the subject of getting ready, find out what the photographer wants you to to do.

Here’s an extensive, but mellow playlist for the Bridesmaid crew who want to have a relaxing morning with a little bit of groove. Start the morning off in good spirits and let the music set the mood.

B/MAIDS Gettin Ready

Mother of the Bride & Groom, Aunts, Uncles & Flower Girl friendly. A solid playlist with 75 songs because 100 was too many and 50 felt too few.  No shuffling, listen in order. With a wide range from Stevie Wonder, to Steve Lacy we promise these songs will tend to your already emotionally charged heart.

As we were making this we realized that our oldies classics might differ from your oldies classics which might differ from your mom’s oldies, but in any case … we hope you enjoy. If you are looking for something a little more specific like 80’s or 90’s, try these:

We plan to make a few of these playlists for you – so that you don’t have to. As we already know you have enough on your plate. So sit back and enjoy this sweet curation of oldies, r&b, neo soul, and indie tracks.
